Importance of Creating Territory Type

Territory assigning's are the most important option in Sokrio DMS. Because, without making territory tree, we can not assign the right person in right places. And obviously there are some permission issues which needs to be set by making proper territory tree. Kindly remember that Territory making is all about parental game. If we compare between RSM & TSM, their territory coverage will not be same. Suppose RSM 1 is liable for Dhaka Division. He has 15 TSM's working in several areas. Suppose, TSM 1 is assigned for Gazipur District. So, TSM 1 is only going to see the activities of Gazipur only. He dobn't have to see Tangail's activity if there is another TSM in Tangail. But, Tangail & Gazipur are based on Dhaka Division. So, RSM needs the access to see all areas activity which belongs to Dhaka Division. We have to set up this permissions by making proper territory tree and by assigning them MANAGER. 

NOTE : What is MANAGER in territory panel? 

• RSM 1 is responsible for Dhaka Division. So, we have to make him manager only on Dhaka Division named/typed Territory.
• TSM 1 is responsible for Gazipur District. So we have to make him Manager in Gazipur District.

MANAGER making is all about blocking the person wise areas. If you make anybody MANAGER on DHAKA DIVISION that means you are blocking him to only see the activities of Dhaka Division. HE can't see the activities of other divisions.

This formula is also for a SR as well. Suppose , If a SR cover 6 routes then you can see his routes under his name . So, You have to make him manager in his name so that he can get his 6 routes only.

 ⇉ For making territory tree, we have to make Territory Type firstly. Let's see how we can do it .

• On Image 1, You can see the levels. It's all about parental thing. 
• Suppose Gazipur District is a Territory which is showing on Level 5. So it's  parent will be Level 4. Let's consider an area named GAZIPUR AREA. GAZIPUR AREA covers Gazipur District, Tangail District, Kishoreganj District. That means Gazipur District's, Tangail District's, Kishoreganj District's parent will be GAZIPUR AREA. That also means that GAZIPUR AREA has 3 territories. 
• We have make a draft firstly about what will be your level name & how many levels should be included before making inputs in Sokrio DMS.

• Then you have to click on ADD, as you can see on Image 1.
• Type the name, Type the description if necessary, most importantly select the level. Suppose, you are typing Division. So, ideally Division level will be LEVEL 2. You just have to play Before & After Game while inputting Territory Type.
• Click on SAVE to finally create the type.

NOTE: Territory Type Creation is the most important thing for making territory tree. So, kindly place the Levels so carefully.
