Customer Master Panel - Part 2 [ Department Adding ]

Before knowing how to add departments, you have to know some basic things which are :

• You can add Retailers from Backend. But Mobile Users have to make edits to take Photos, Mapping and other things if necessary. Retailers can be added from Mobile App by SR's as well. So it's your call that you will add retailers information from backend or not. If you have ready data of Retailers, then you can add from backend.
• You must have to  upload warehouse [If necessary], Depo [If necessary], Dealers/Distributor's [If Necessary] 

Now let's see how to add departments from Backend.

 ⇉ You can add Manually One by One.

 ⇉ You can upload by using Bulk CSV Format. 

◜Manually Adding◝

• Go to Departments Panel.
• Click on Add.
• Select New Departments.
• Then you can see the view of Image 1.
• Put the information as it's demanded.

Careful Parts : 

• Be careful while selecting territory.
• Be careful of selecting supplier.

Note :

1. If you add Retail Departments then please add dealers/distributors before adding retailers. Because you need supplier for adding retailers.

2. If you  adding dealers/distributors, then please make sure to select the territory and supplier. Dealers supplier can be a Depo or Central.

◜Bulk Departments Adding◝

• To upload departments as Bulk, you need to download the CSV format firstly.

• On Image 3, two type of channels information have been placed for example. Please type by the column name. Please select territory code and supplier code so carefully.
• Outlet code should be unique.

• After typing by the columns, please save the file as CSV format. Make sure that no blank Rows should be there. And some columns can be blanked for Optional. You can have the idea from Image 1 that which options are optional.
• Click on Bulk Departments.
• Select CSV file and import it. If you correctly placed all the information's then your departments will be uploaded.

Kindly Remember this chain before uploading any department :

◜Warehouse  ⇉ Depo  ⇉ Dealer/ Distributors  ⇉ Retailers◝

• That means, you have to upload the suppliers firstly. If you add Depo, you need to upload the warehouse names
• If you add retailers, You need dealer names.

Note : If your business don't follow this model then supplier will be Central Only.
